My Role Model is my grandmother. Her perseverance as well as her dedication to her teaching is one that can be admired by all. She was a very hard working women and did everything for her family as well as her children she was teaching. She worked in a very difficult school for 42 years and to this day says "she would never trade it away"

opening paragraph
A role model to me is not just a person who has qualities which you admire or someone you aspire to be when you grow up. A role model to me is someone who has the strength and determination to wake up each and every morning and after a lifetime of pain, still give the world another chance. My role model is my grandmother Joan Hagan, and everything she does makes me realize just how special she is. My grandmother is eighty-five years of age has been through many ordeals but still keeps pressing forward.

Role Model Bibliography
So I have been at my laptop for over three hours just trying to think of differnt sources to use for the bibliography. My rold model is my grandmother who was a teacher for 42 years at Mount Vernon and im finding it very difficult to find many sources. She was also a single mother of 5 and raised her children for many years alone. If anyone can help with ideas to use for the bibliography i would very much appreciate it.

My Role Model
Growing up with 6 children and a husband that was never around my grandmother worked as hard as she could to keep her family in tact. In the 1950's She was a school teacher in Mount Vernon. At that time, as well as in present day Mount Vernon is a dangerous place with a very low success of kids passing. Crime is out of hand in the city and when she first applied there they told her she did not want the job and couldn't handle it. Well 42 years later she was still teaching there and never once complained. Having to maintain a home as well as 6 children, while trying to work at a school five days a week and also a local restaurant on weekends just to get by and just to support everyone she never once complained. She chose a school that was designed to fail, a school that had no more then a 50% pass rate for that time and wanted to make a change. I'm going to school to be a teacher and i would love to do what she did and go to a school that i can make a difference.
